Dementia Adviser Service

Receiving a diagnosis of dementia can leave a person feeling vulnerable and insecure. It can undoubtedly raise questions, concerns and issues about the impact on your life, now and in the future.

What do we do?
We are a team of specially trained and experienced Dementia Advisers who are able to provide you with information, advice and the opportunity to access the right support to meet your needs.

Arrange to meet with you in a location of your choice to discuss your needs and concerns.
Provide information and advice by post, telephone or email.
Support you to access specialist advice and information about medication and other therapies.
Signpost you to other support services and groups that are appropriate to your needs.
Help you become more socially active, introducing you to local activity groups, helping to improve your well-being and reducing isolation.
